The TSD80 Heat Shrink Sleeve system provides superior corrosion protection and excellent bonding of welded joints on pipelines operating up to 80C. TSD-80 sleeve has been designed with a unique adhesive technology that remains “open”longer than traditional adhesives. Also, special surface active agents allow bonding to lower surface energy coatings. As a result, lower preheat temperatures are required to attain true adhesive wet-out and superior bonding to PE and FBE surfaces is achieved.
The TSD80 High Temp Heat Shrinkable Sleeve from TSD is a high-performance pipeline anticorrosion solution, engineered to deliver long-term corrosion protection and superior bonding performance for welded joints of gas and oil pipelines, with compatibility for pipeline systems operating continuously at up to 85℃. Adopting industry-leading unique adhesive formulation and surface active treatment technology, this gas pipeline heat shrinkable sleeve achieves lower installation preheat temperature than traditional anticorrosion products, realizing complete wet-out and exceptional bonding to low surface energy mainline coatings including PE, FBE, PP and HPPC, delivering seamless structural protection for pipeline weld joints. We offer customizable wall thickness ranging from 2.0mm to 3.2mm, and sleeve width from 50mm to 1000mm, with both pre-cut wraparound sleeves and custom-specification production available, fully meeting the needs of gas and oil pipeline projects with different pipe diameters.
Our force cured epoxy heat shrink sleeve adopts a proven force curing process for liquid epoxy on steel surface, allowing installers to complete pre-inspection of weld joints prior to sleeve application, avoiding post-installation anticorrosion defects. The cured epoxy layer will not displace during sleeve alignment and shrinking stages, ensuring 100% coverage of steel weld joints, eliminating hidden corrosion risks, and greatly reducing project rework rate and later operation and maintenance costs for pipeline operators and engineering contractors.
This low preheat heat shrinkable sleeve features an exclusive adhesive formula with a much longer open time than traditional adhesives, paired with special surface active agents to adapt to low surface energy coatings. With a minimum installation preheat temperature of only 110℃, it reduces heating time compared to similar products, significantly improving on-site construction efficiency, while achieving ultra-high bonding strength to PE and FBE coatings, eliminating the risk of cathodic disbondment.
As a premium pipeline weld corrosion protection sleeve, it delivers structural integrity equivalent to a seamless tube, with excellent resistance to cathodic disbondment, abrasion and chemical attack. With a volume resistivity of 10¹⁷ ohm-cm, it provides decades of stable anticorrosion protection in harsh field and buried environments, reducing the full life cycle maintenance investment of pipelines.
The sleeve can be supplied as pre-cut wraparound products matched to exact pipe diameters, or as bulk rolls, adapting to different on-site construction scenarios including Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) trenchless projects. We also support custom formulation and specification production according to customers' special working condition requirements, with no extra customization cycle cost.
